Dr. Thomas Kurt is a nationally recognized medical toxicologist and public health expert with over five decades of experience in environmental medicine. A pioneer in carbon monoxide research at high altitudes, he has advised the EPA, FDA, and Department of Justice on toxic exposures and served on multiple national panels setting air quality standards. Dr. Kurt founded the North Texas Poison Center and continues to teach at leading medical institutions.

 

His lifelong commitment to preventing carbon monoxide poisoning makes him a vital advisor to NCOAA's mission.
