The Lofgren Family

Date of Passing

Parker, Caroline, Owen, and Sophie Lofgren were killed by CO poisoning in Aspen, Colorado, on Thanksgiving 2008. They had “ won” a ski house in a silent auction at the children’s school. It was totally preventable. There was not one CO detector in this 10 million dollar home. Caroline was the fifth of 6 children in our family - the Bright Light in our family. There are NO words to describe the traumatic aftermath of this tragedy. Our family has passed laws in 6 states ,hopefully to prevent further deaths from Carbon Monoxide.
